California Trip Part 2!!

So I am so thrilled I took pictures throughout our California trip to see my parents on my Mom's camera also and for some reason after downloading the pictures onto our lap top we could not find them anywhere when we got home. You can imagine how sad I was... But I found them randomly today!!! So here are some more pictures of our amazing trip in no order....

This is a picture of the Miranda family and the people that got to go through the temple with them and see this family be sealed for all time and eternity! It was the most incredible feeling... I am so glad I got to be apart of this a little bit.

My Dad with his 4 "adopted" grandchildren!!!! They call him their grandpa! I have a feeling come January 4, 2013 when my parents are released from their mission it is going to be so extremely difficult to leave the people they have come to love so much.

Oswald Beach

This last weekend our good friend Kristen invited us to go to Oswald Beach with a bunch of our other friends. We packed up a years worth of stuff and did a little hike and played all day at the beach.

We had so much fun hanging out with everyone. It was so cold but for some reason that did not phase the kids. They were jumping in the ocean, in puddles, and digging in the sand! Scott made a fire and we all roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We shared oreos with everyone and Cash followed me everywhere trying to get more. It was hilarious- had to be there to know!!! I enjoyed myself so much. My favorite was just laughing and being with our friends. And of course the beauty of the beach helped a lot!!!! 

Joys of Motherhood

Day in the life of me today.....

.... Cash woke up and went potty "Yellow" all over the bathroom floor

.... threw gross stuff in laundry and did a load

.... Belle woke up with croup or something... again...- she can't stop coughing. I broke out the humidifier, did steamy shower, did the works and we are.... back to where we began two weeks ago

....  Folded laundry and Cash laughed and kicked my folded laundry everywhere

.... Cash went Yellow in his pants

.... Did another sick load of laundry and did another load

.... Belle and Cash had a kicking fight which turned into time out for a while

.... Cleaned Belle's room while she laid in her bed

.... Fed Paige and after came into my once cleaned room to find it trashed- made the kids clean it up

.... Cash went yellow all over the bathroom again.... He is starting to think it is funny to go Yellow anywhere but the toilet. He has not worn diapers for 4 days... including nights and all of a sudden today he doesn't care.... Not wanting to give up I threw another pair of potty pants on him.... Cinderella ones to be exact because were out of his and then we talked forever about going potty on the toilet.

.... Threw the gross stuff in the laundry basket and just left it there

.... Felt very overwhelmed

.... Made fruit pizzas to try to do something fun so the kids could frost them and put fresh raspberries and strawberries on them.

..... After telling Cash not to eat the frosting because it was made with cream cheese and butter which he knows not to eat....grabbed the bowl while I was giving Belle her lunch and put it on the floor and ate fingers full of the frosting ...

.... I had a heart attack since he has milk allergies and rushed benadryl down his throat and sent him to bed for not listening for the 100th time today

.... Belle feeling left out of being in trouble decided to start screaming and throwing a fit about going to bed. WHICH I DIDN'T EVEN SAY SHE WAS GOING TO BED!!!... she kept saying, "No no Mom I won't go to bed." In her damsel in distress scream and then acted like I was throwing her in the dungeon and had a scared face as I was just looked at her confused out of my mind.... and then she went to bed too!

.... Reminded myself how much I adore and love my children!!!

.... Kids woke up in the middle of a Young Womens meeting I was having and the lady left shortly after.... I bet you could guess why!

.... Belle and Cash ripped a kite apart and trailed it through the house.... Blue string that looked like streamers were everywhere.... hints why I never answer my phone, sorry Tanna!

.... Cash ripped the screen right off from the window that was open

.... Cash went Yellow all over the living room carpet

.... I LOST IT....

.... I scrubbed the carpet, threw a diaper on Cash, made them clean up the kite strands everywhere, and started lecturing them for like an hour... Monkey came home to this beautiful site

.... As we speak Belle is yelling "Daddy NOOOO!"

This was my day.... I bet tomorrow will be much better... I am very hopeful!!!!!!

Girls weekend...

 

Two weekends ago our little family planned on going to The Dalles to meet our newest nephew Max! Max's blessing was going to be done that Sunday! We all were soooo excited! We were talking all week about the things we were going to do in The Dalles with all Monkey's family! But sadly Belle ended up having the croup. So Monkey and Cash ended up going to The Dalles. Cash had a blast he got to see his chicken Birdie and swim in the stream and be completely loved by everyone. I was pretty bummed that we didn't get to go. I wanted to see Ariel and Quinton and baby Max so bad.... I think that reflected in my attitude the first day. I wasn't the happiest mother. I realized I was making the whole weekend awful so I decided I better get fun or we will all end up depressed....

 

So we had a girls weekend.... Spa day! We had bubble baths, nail painting, and Tat*toes. I made a huge tent around my bed and we had Popsicles and cuddle while watching movies... Belle's favorite was The Chipmunk adventure... we watched it 3-4 times. 

Even though we were so sad not to get to go meet Max and I had to console Belle about 100 times because she wanted Daddy and 1000 times cause she wanted Cash- it was great to just be with my girls. Paige was so sweet she did everything with us. I think Belle and I tired her out because she slept into 10am Saturday morning! But I have to say... us girls were so excited to see our boys walk in the door Sunday night!
