Before school....

What in the world.... Fall is coming here in the Grove, all the leaves are turning already!!! I can't believe our summer is over. Monkey started school again on Monday. So I am back being a single mom... not really Monkey has a great schedule which makes him able to be home early. But when tests start that is when I will be a single Mom! At least I have awesome friends to hang out with when we are missing our Daddy! So what did we do before school started you might ask.... Well Our good friends Vanessa and Jimmy came and stayed at our house Friday with their cute kids Braden (Belle's buddy when she was a baby) and Brynlie!!

We were so excited for the Telford's to arrive!!! The kids and I waited outside and when they pulled up Belle was waving her hands back and forth. It was so good to see them! Braden is talking and it freaked me out! He is so big now! Seeing them made me wish so badly that we lived close!
Oh and seeing Brynlie for the second time was awesome! This little girl is the BEST baby! She never cries and she is full of smiles!!! I could just hold her all the time!

Belle potty trained herself last week. I finally gave up and she decided she wanted to. So she wears potty pants all day and does everything including washing her hands by herself. She was showing Braden how and dressing him up in skirts which he did not appreciate too much I don't think... well at least his Dad didn't!
Friday we went to the splash park and we had a lot of fun! I can't believe we didn't bring my camera! Oh well! We got back home ate some enchaladas and the kids had a swim suit party and went to bed! Then Nes, Jim, Monk, and I talked and ate a million cookies and played a card game. I have to be honest I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time! Oh It was so good being with them.
The next morning Braden and Belle helped me make waffles! Then the Telford's packed up and headed to the beach... We were so sad they had to go. Belle cried for like an hour... she wanted to go with them so bad. We love the Telford's!!! I miss them already!
Since Belle was so sad and we had to do something fun we decided last minute to head to Hagg Lake for the rest of the day. Belle got a lot happier finally. She made sure to grab her binoculars which she thinks is her camera! She took tons of pictures "like mom" with them! And wore her red lipstick haha "like mom" she says!!!

Hagg Lake was so wonderful and so perfect!!! The water was warm and the mud was used has paint all over Monkey's back. Thanks for being such a great sport babe, we know how much you love getting dirty!!! I love spending time with my little family. I really am overwhelmed at the love I have for each one of them! I love going to Hagg Lake because like the beach it is a time to forget about school, money, problems...etc. I also love our date nights Monkey and I do almost every night now after the kids go to bed. I did  this date... because it was the last night before he went to school. I made cheese fondue and we watched a movie. Then we got a huge blanket and went beside our house behind our huge tree and looked at the stars and just laughed and talked. I sure am in love with my husband!!! Cheesy I know! But so true! I am going to miss him this semester but I am excited that we are one year down and two more to go!!!

August 2011

What is better than an airshow while playing in a splash park??? Not much!! We headed down to Hillsboro to sit on a curb across the street from the airport to watch the big show! That didn't last long because I was afraid of being hit by cars so we packed back up and headed to the Splash park not too far away. Which to our surprise we could see the air shoe almost perfectly!!! We had a picnic in the shade and the kids were freaking out because of the PANES! PANES! AIO PANES MOM!!! -CASH- I have to say I was way excited myself! After our picnic we played in the water watching the show!

Belle found her twin! I don't think Belle was too happy that another little girl had her same bathing suit, because....
Belle kept running away from her.. the other little girl wanted to hold her hand so bad and Belle the little diva she is at times would not let her get close to her! Haha

So she decided to be anti-social and play by herself.

Cash and I were having a blast... Cash's new thing is to stick his head over the water hole and wait for the water to pop him in the face! He did that like fifty times and I laughed and laughed every time!

We had such a blast- I wish days were always like this... Warm, happy, simple, etc!!!!
Later that night we got to watch Skylar and Parker while their parents went out! Time flies with these two!! They crack me up... I think the whole time Belle and Park Man were asking me for popsicles... Which I finally caved and I am so glad I did because these pictures I love!

Now I am excited to introduce the "Club House Tree"... the neighbor kids call it...

All the kids I think there was 6 or 7 kids in the club house this time... but they all have so much fun! It reminds me of a tree I would play in growing up!

Oh Skylar... she is always filling my house with flowers.. or giving them to people, or wearing them! Cash loves it when she shares her flowers with him. He sits there and waits for her to bring he some! Summer has been so incredible this year. I can't believe it is almost September and coming to an end. Monkey starts school Monday and I don't know how I feel about it! I love love love being with him. Thinking about him not really ever being here makes me so sad.... but I am going to be positive and have a awesome FALL! I took a little nanny job watching a little girl named Thalia. She is a sweetheart and so nice to my kids so I don't mind at all! So this Fall (which is my favorite season) will be full of friends and hopefully not so much rain!!! haha
