Monkey 26th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Monkey!!! This birthday was a bit of a surprise.... I decided since we never get anything for our anniversaries or Christmas... and seeing that this is his last summer off before he goes year round of intense school for the next 3 years... I decided to surprise him with a getaway trip! But first on his real birthday we went to Gales Creek camp ground and roasted mallows and starbursts! And some hot dogs! Monkey decided to go cheap and he bought a cheap-o fire log to use to roast and it made everything awful!! But it was his birthday so whatever! It was fun. Then we played in the stream forever and everyone got so dirty! But I guess life is meant to get dirty!

Then we headed to Newport for his real celebration. We stayed a a place called the Embarcadero. The receptionist messed something up so she upgraded us to a bayfront room! We died when we walked into the room- I was not excepting such a beautiful view! The kids could not get over how close the water was... They wanted to jump in every chance they could get.

Then we headed to the Beach like 3 minutes from our hotel! As usual it was incredible! I could live on these beaches and be content for the rest of my life if I could!

I love when the tide is back a ways... Because you can go to all the rocks and just see all the sea life. Belle loves sea cucumber. She touches them and just screams then laughs! I feel bad for them! haha Cash isn't so sure he likes them too much!

We then headed back to the hotel and went swimming! Belle is swimming so good. She wishes she could swim by herself and I wish swimming lessons weren't so expensive here! My kids love the water. Honest they rather be in the water then not. After we walked around our hotel and saw the most cool boats. Our hotel is where the all the boats come to dock. Tons of people were catching crabs... on the pier. This place was so chill.

Then after we got the kids to bed I made Monkey leave and I made dinner and tried to make the place nice! He came back and we had a dress up enchalada dinner... What he wanted for his birthday dinner.

His cake was heaven. For anyone that likes peanut butter and chocolate this cake thing is for you and it is not hard to make at all. It was so delicious- too bad we were so full that we could only fit like 3 bites in!
For breakfast of course we surprised Monk with breakfast burritos- his favorite! Then we packed up and headed through town to the Newport Aquarium. The town was so cool right by our hotel everything was so interesting! Workers were eating lunch on top of houses, Ripley's believe it or not, trucks full of shrimp, and just the sweetest looking shops. I wish we could have stayed one more day so we could just walk down the street and enjoy this awesome town. But we were pretty happy with the aquarium. Belle was sooooo loud... "WOW MOM... THATS A JELLY FISH... OHHHHHH MOM WHATS THAT... MOOOOMMMMM, COME HERE! WOW!!!!" People were laughing at her so hard because she was going crazy.

She especially loved the shark tunnel! I was creeped out! But it was the most crazy feeling having sharks... big shraks swim over me! I am not a fan! Belle for some reason was dancing like crazy on the glass on the floor! She was shakin it! I was cracking up! Cash was yelling.. "SHARKK!" over and over! Monkey and I were just laughing.

Then we headed to the beach again! We can't get enough beach... Today was very chill just running around and totally loving being together!

I have no clue what this is- No clue... but cool.

I hope Monkey had a good birthday. I sure love and appreciate him so incredibly much. He makes life so fun and so exciting! I am so blessed and met him and so blessed he finally asked me to marry him. I am so in love with this old 26 year old!! haha just kidding Young 26 year old... I love you Monk!
 Happy Birthday!
