CASH GARRETT MULLINS!!! IS FINALLY HERE AND HOME!!!

Sunday night finally came I had butterflies all day long! So we get all settled and I am only at a one so we had a long night ahead of us. That next morning I was still was at a one and my doctor broke my water.... and the contractions came like every 3 minutes. I was finally at a 3 and my bad hip started killing... even more then the contractions so I asked for my epiderul and my doc said to go a little longer and I got kind of mad but I said ok! Anyways hours go by and I felt like my hip was going to fall off and my contractions were crazy! So I was like ok I am not waiting anymore. The nurse finally got my epiderul and I was so loopy and sooooo HAPPY afterwards! I feel asleep and like 30 minutes later I was like I think he he coming out. My nurse checked me and I was at a 10 and he was coming!!!! I pushed 3 times and he was out. Monkey totally almost fainted the nurses had to help him sit down! hahahahah. I could not stop laughing! Then the best moment.... I finally held my baby! Then out of no where Cash started to breathe all freaky. Like his whole chest looked like it was going to cave in. They couldn't get him to breathe. I of course started to cry and they rushed him to the NICU. My mom got to the hospital and we all just waited for what felt like forever for some good news. They finally came back and told me that he fianlly started to breathe. The nurses sucked a ton of fluid out of his lungs and started to do all these test on him to see if he happened to have trisomy 18. A couple of hours went by and I finally got to go in to the NICU and see Cash. He had a IV and lots of cords- I couldn't stop crying. But I was also so filled with gratitude that he was doing so much better. The doctor still had a lot of test to do to see what was actually wrong with him, so he had to stay in the NICU for awhile.
I am so hppy to be finally home with this little guy!!! I am overwhelmed with the love and prayers of everyone! I am especially grateful to Heavenly Father for knowing what was going on and protecting our baby! Things always works out even when you think it won't. I am so happy and just filled with gratitude and I have learned so much over this pregnancy.
