Halloween 2011

Oh Halloween went on all month! I have to say by the time Halloween was actually here I was ready for it to be over! Ha but we had a lot of fun. Our first thing we did is get all dressed up and went to the PAVA party. Which is an optometry club basically! We had a blast. Belle of course had to dress up like a princess. Cash picked a bird!!! Which if I would let him he would sleep with every night! Monkey and I decided to dress up as a 1920's gangster and his flapper girl!

The party was so awesome! We had so much fun! I kept catching Belle sneaking up to the dessert table and grabbing another cupcake. I think she had 5. Cash was just loving the popcorn.

The next thing we did was go trick or treating at Daddy's school. The had a parade through each of the classes.

They were so excited to see their Dad... I was too!
Then the next day we had a little mini Halloween party with Thalia. We made cards, frosted pumpkin cookies, painted pumpkins and had a ghostly dance!

Then Halloween night came and we headed to trunk or treat! We met my friend Erinn there with her kids! They were our old neighbors and it was so fun to be with them that night!

This was funny this guy made a haunted house out of his trailer. All of a sudden I hear screaming and people freaking out inside I look back down to make sure my kids are alright and Belle is gone! I was looking everywhere and someone said they think she went in the haunted trailer where everyone was freaking out! I ran up to the guy and people were still screaming and he crawled in and a little later out comes Belle laughing saying, "That was fun!" She is crazy!

When we finally made it all around the building Belle immediatley sat down and started eating all her candy! The kids traded candy and ate and ate!

As you can see I was a bit tired this night so I went in my pj's!!! This is my friend Michelle and her costume rocked! I loved Halloween but honest I am glad it's over! Now to Thanksgiving where there is a lot to be grateful for!

Belle's potty training story!

Ok so as we all know I do not like potty training a stubborn toddler! Nope... never want to do it again. So Belle's story.... We started out with quite the enthusiasm... We made a sticker chart, prizes, bought a cool little pink toilet and went for it! She loved it for like 2 days till see got really sick and tired of being in the bathroom. Then the battle began! It was horrible trying to get her into the bathroom- She would not go anymore. I was determined to get her potty trained which was my first mistake. So she would scream and kick. And when I finally got her to get on the toliet she would scream at me and kick me! I left the bathroom with a bloody face once... and she left with like a day of time out! So one day I looked at her after a awful day of the bathroom and looked at her and in not a soft voice said... "I AM DONE... I AM NOT DOING THIS ANYMORE! YOU ARE GOING TO WEAR DIAPERS TILL YOUR 20.... AND YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM!" HAHAH I lost my marbles. After that day she would look at the toilet and just walk by... and then one day out of the blue she decided she was POTTY TRAINED! For the last 4 months she only has worn a diaper at night. And she does everything by herself... wipes, flushes, washes hands, yells "I did" and moves on!  When Belle wants it done...It will be done! Enough said! Happy potty training!

The Mullins

So the Mullins Family came to visit us for the weekend. We were all so excited. The kids got dressed up in cute outfits and we sat anxiously awaiting their arrival in the front yard. While we were waiting Cash started heading straight for the street... I was yelling Cash come back and he turned a little looked at me then looked at a HUGE sick dirt muddy puddle and made a break for it.... I started running after him... "Yelling not the puddle!!!!" and Cash slowly sat in it and rolled on his side and layed there! Big Stink!!! The Mullins were going to be there any second  and I just laughed. OFCOURSE! Cash wasn't too happy with himself after that! Finally they got here. Belle and Cash were so excited to see them. We did a lot in such a short time while they were here. We went to Roloff Farm- a pumpkin patch that is on the Big World Little People show on TLC. It was really fun the kids got to see some animals, played on haystacks, explored tipees, and Grandma and Grandpa treated Belle to face paint. She picked a purple ghost! I was surprised she didn't pick a purple and pink unicorn! Then we got home ate and headed to the temple for Rhett's third time before he goes on his mission. The next morning we went to the fire department and leanred all about fire fighters. We rode in the fire truck... which the kids thought was so amazing! I have to say I love being with the Mullins, I seriously lucked out with my in laws! They are seriously the best and I love them all so much. I love when they come because Belle and Cash are like celebrities! They get so much love! Grandpa was cracking me up he was pretending to be Belle's horse. They wrapped people up in ropes and dragged them away. Belle even got him to go in the cubby and pretend to trick or treat! Grandma brought the best books... Which everyday since the kids make me read! I appreciate everything they do for our family- especially what they do for our kids! We love you guys!
