Halloween....

Well I had little budget money this year for costumes and Belle had high expectations on everyone being characters from Peter Pan... So here is the material and old t shirts to make our costumes!! I am definaelty not a sewer... I try to but no way will I ever be professional at it. I never follow patterns because I get sad because the final product never looks like the pattern...

So I broke out the sissors and started cutting and pinning where I thought things would work out or look kind of ok!!! Lets just say I was frustrated, Belle was screaming and frustrated (I may have pinned once), Cash was mad about who knows what... and I almost broke my sewing machine... It was not a good day.... Belle kept trying to rip her costume off. So ahhhhh not my favorite.

So then I was sewing and I messed up huge and had to undo my thread and I let out a huge, "AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Then Belle hahahahah out of no where starts singing, "Don't give upppppp, everybody wants to be understood... Don't give uuuuup!" She sang the Josh Groban song to me.... and she sang almost the whole song. I almost busted up laughing but instead thank you Belle for reminding me that I need to keep trying! Then I laughed. Then Cash started singing the song then they started singing a song from Strawberry Shortcake... A step at a time. I laughed while my kids were motivating me to never give up!!! So without further adieu HALLOWEEN......

Oh man was this Halloween quite interesting... Our first party was the Optometry party. Belle loves this one because all my friends are there so I don't notice that she sneaks like 10 cupcakes/cookies! Belle had a blast with her friends. I felt so sad for Cash something was not right. He was glued to my leg the whole night. Later I found out because he was scared of the clown!!! Haha Then out of no where Cash started coughing. Not his regular cough- his allergy I can't breathe cough. We rushed home and Cash started freaking out... He had eaten something with dairy in it. His lips, eyes, and well his whole face started to swell. He itched everywhere. He was scratching his skin like he was going to scratch it off. He was just screaming and clinging to my neck. Luckily we have done this plenty of times before- so we gave him a treatment and medicine and waited. I had the epi pen on hand this time, I really thought we were going to have to use it and rush him to the ER. But after a long while he finally felt okay. The next morning both kids woke up with the same ole same ole cough. They both ended up getting fevers and sick again. I looked into the mirror that morning and for a second I said, "Is this real life!! Am I awake... this can't be for real!"  It wasn't a dream both kids were for real ... really sick again. Belle started bawling because she wanted to go trick or treating so bad. She was yelling over and over, "No Mom I don't want to be sick... No I want to trick or treat so bad Mom!" I told her we would say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father if he could help her fell better so she could trick or treat. For the next 4 days lots of prayers were said.

Halloween day rolled around and we had an appointment to see the EMT specialist for Belle. Cash was so sick he was coughing nonstop. We got into the appointment and Dr. King decided to have Belle scheduled to be put under so they could put the scope in her and check things out. Cash was so bad that she said he needs to have the same procedure done. Cash started coughing really bad and the Doctor told me to either get him to his peds doctor or straight to the ER. The doctors office was closed so we went to the ER. They treated him with steroids and got him breathing a whole lot better. I am so grateful for medicine. Then I was going over all the sicknesses my kids have had this whole year and the doctor asked me if my kids were around smoke. Sadly they are.... my neighbor smokes with everyone else in her home like 100rd times a day and it comes through my window all the time. He told me that it also comes through vents and cracks and without a doubt in his mind he thinks that the smoke is really irritating my kids making their sick situation 10 times worse. He said if it were his choice he would move from our house. So we are now looking for a new place to live. I am hoping my neighbor even in the rain would smoke on the curb away from our house, but that hasn't happen quite yet, hopefully when I explain the smole problem will go away... other wise- house hunting here we come.

We left the ER and went home and all my kids just fell asleep for a long time. After 4 nights of seriously not a wink of sleep I wasn't surprised. I wasn't surprised either when Belle prayed again to be able to trick or treat. All through their naps I heard no coughing.... Then they woke up and no coughing..... they were playing   and having so much fun... and no coughing! I was blown away. Monkey talked me into letting them go trunk or treating. I told them we were going and Belle said, "Oh thank you Heavenly Father!" We all felt it was a miracle. I love how our loving Father in Heaven cares about such a little thing but yet a huge thing to Belle like trick or treating.

We had such a great time trunk or treating. Then we got them happy meals and went home and craved pumpkins. Cash loved getting the goo all over. Belle wouldn't touch the goo. After craving pumpkins we lit them and told friendly ghost stories in the light of our glowing pumpkins. We did shadow puppets! I have to saw this Halloween was the best one I have ever had. The kids kept saying that too.

Later that night Cash started screaming! Screaming bloody murder. For 2 hours I held him crying he wouldn't let me go, he had to have me right next to him. If I got out of bed he would freak out. Finally the pain was so awful and he could not stop screaming I decided to take him to the ER again around 1am. We were headed out the door and my neighbor had an emergency at the same time. So Monkey left with Cash and I stayed with me neighbor. After all was said and done that night... it was 3:30 am and Cash was home asleep with a major ear infection- (which burst the next day). The rest of the night awake and asleep he was screaming and crying, "Maaama, Mommy!" It was so sad. He has been doing that for the past 2 nights and has to have me close to him. I don't know what is going on....

Anyways we went to the doctor for Paige's 4 month check up and she weighs almost 19 pounds!!! hahaha The doctor said she is off the charts and super healthy!!! Talk about a huge blessing that she hasn't got sick! And sadly Belle and Cash were back to coughing and Cash has a fever from his ear infection. Today all kids seem a bit better. I am surprised Monkey and I have not had a heart attack yet from all these scares our kids our putting us through! I am just so happy it's not worse! And majorly happy Heavenly Father heard our prayers and we had the best Halloween night ever!!!!
