HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELLE!

Belle is 2!!! I can't believe it that I have a 2 year old. What a birthday Belle had. We wanted to do a ton of fun things outside but it rained almost all day. So I decided to let Belle do whatever she wanted to do. When she woke up we fixed homemade waffles and of course she wanted strawberries on it!

Then I asked her if she could do anything in the whole wide world what would she want to do... She wanted to dance! So we danced our hearts out. Then the next thing she wanted to do is watch "NEMO" hahah. Out of anything she could do she wanted to watch Finding Nemo. She is obsessed with it, like she loves fish... I hate them and she looooves them! All she can talk about all day long is fish. So we watched Finding Nemo!

After her nap Monkey came home and we bundled up and Belle wanted to go see the puppies. So we stayed at the pet store forever! Then we went to see the buffalos at the buffalo farm. Belle was scared of them! Go figure! We dropped Monkey off at school and I asked her what she wanted to do next. Belle said, "Walmart!" I looked at her and said "WALMART... WHAT THE WORD?!!!" she just started laughing and said, "eat a cookie!" I died laughing! everytime we go to Walmart we go to the bakery and they give Belle a cookie. Then we walked around the store and a Christmas movie was on and she wanted to "watch the movie Mom!" So we watched the movie for like ten minutes. We went and looked at the Christmas trees and I told her all about Christmas. We both got so excited and I almost bought everything I saw that was Christmas! We got in such a holiday mood!

We headed home and it stopped raining... So we made her cup cakes. ICE CREAM CONE CUP CAKES! They turned out so RAD! Jordan our neighbor came over to help decorate the cup cakes. Then we got all of Belle's friends (Jasmine, Nie, Isavel, Antonio, Jordan, Jazmin, Clarie, Ian, Rosa, Maria, and Erin) and they sang to her and ate the cup cakes, played with balloons, and popped bubbles! It was a blast. We had to have the party by our doors cause it was the only place that was not wet. Monkey put tons of bubbble gum in his mouth and tried to blow a bubble I think he almost blew a nerve instead!!! Cash was being held by Maria... of course! Everytime I come outside with Cash Maria comes running and just grabs him and just laughs and talks to him forever (she only speaks spanish, we try having converstains hahah it's pretty funny). Cash loves her soooo much!

Then we came inside and Belle had Pizza... her favorite and opened presents (thank you grandparents for your awesome gifts, Belle loves them). I don't think she knew what was going on. Finally after all her presents were opened she realised the presents were hers and she got so excited and went crazy!

Now... so everyone knows Monkey put her birthday on a budget and I almost bought her a birthday outfit but noooo.... I had to put it back because it was over the budget.... Then Monkey had a suprise for Belle..... A FISH!!!! Our fifth memeber of our family... NEMO! I bet you could guess she would name her fish that. Monkey said he couldn't help it he got to excited!!! Budget or not it was pretty cute. Monkey was so excited to give it to her. Belle couldn't believe she had her own fish. This morning she wanted to eat with Nemo, watch a show with Nemo, sleep with Nemo! She seriously is in LOVE! She tells Nemo stories and sings to him and just stares at Nemo.

Her birthday I think was more fun for Monkey and I! Cash was hialrious he kept laughing at her all day! I think they are going to be the best of friends as they grow up together. My favorite was this morning Belle and Cash were playing with her toys and Belle was blow drying Cash's hair. Putting lip stick on Elmo in her new book. She was showing Cash all of her toys and he was just smiling at everything. I love watching them paly.

Belle I love you! These past 2 years have been incredible. You are the most independent, loving, stubborn, funny, happy, crazy, cute, sweet girl I know. You have become my little best friend. I know I am your mommy but I feel like we have become such good friends. At times I have cried or I was sad and I thought you didn't see me but you see everything... you always come and kiss me or wipe my tears away. You may throw fits like terrible two's times ten but we seem to get through it and love each other more each time. I love you and I am so proud of the little lady you are becoming!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!! I LOVE YOU!

9 Months old and sick sick sick!

Cash is 9 MONTHS OLD

Height: 29 1/2 inches
Weight: 22 Ibs and 8 Oz

What do I say about Cash? HAPPY HAPPY BOY! like I can't even describe how happy he is. He laughs constantly and instead of crawling he rolls and dances! Anytime this little guy hears music he goes crazy. I guess I could have guessed that. He loves food!!! Like Mother like son! He wants real people food all the time... to heck with the baby stuff. Although he will eat whatever I give him. He is a poutter. If he can't have something he just puts his head on the floor and cries. He loves little kids. He loves to cuddle. He is a mama and daddy's boy. Monkey walks in and oh boy, nothing else matters but Monkey. I seriously can't explain the happiness he brings me. Like I am not a morning person AT ALL... but when I hear him in the morning I pop right out of bed to get him because I am so excited to see him.

He does want to crawl and no way does he want to walk. He just now is trying to walk when I hold his hands. He is content to chill! Belle not so much! I am just in love with this boy.... look at his face and you can tell why!!

Belle finally finished a row on her sticker chart! It was pick up your toys after playing. She is so proud of herself. We still really need to work on not throwing fits and making good choices! But way to go Belle on picking up your toys!!! I love you!

Belle and Cash have been sick for a couple days and for some reason that made them like each other a lot more. They played together constantly and didn't make each other cry!!!

Life...

Forest Grove has been absoultely goregous... it's been like 70 degrees and perfect. The kids and I decided it would be fun to find a new park to play out and what we found was so much better. A duck lake that was out of this world beautiful. Belle fell in love with the ducks. She would throw the bread in and she would scream and laugh her head off, she thought it was hialrious to throw her luch in as well.... I didn't!! Cash would squeal and you could tell he couldn't quite get his excitment out of his body.... he look like it was going to explode right out of him. We sat down and I taught Belle how to really smell. It smelt like pumpkin or some kind of spice. Belle kept breathing deep and saying it smelt delicious! Cash ate leaves and threw up everywhere! But that didn't ruin anything he thought it was funny! Then we had Family home evening that night about being thankful. We watched how Christ healed people... Belle was entranced! She did not want to stop watching, she cried most the rest of the night. But she finally ended up being happy after she finished her turkey thankful hand.

I have been thinking a lot about life and about family and I have realised how amazing life is trials and all. Times like today make me really think of the BIG PICTURE. Life is really so short we don't have time to waste it. I am not perfect at it by any means but when I fill my days with time for other people and my family it makes me soo incredibly happy. I am so grateful for times when I fiqure this out. I have a brother n law whose mother is not doing to well. She has been sick for a long time. I can't help but feel so sad for their family and I just keep wondering how I could help but as usually my brother n law helped me.... He sees the BIG PICTURE he has shown and lives his life in a way that no matter what happens it's ok and the Lord knows what he is doing. He knows that miracles can happen but he also knows that if something were to happen that he will see her again. I admire him so much! What a crazy hard thing to go through but what incredible faith he has. I hope that through my own life I can develope that kind of faith.

I finally know whats going on with my hip.....

So miracle of all miracles there was a cancellation at OSHU and I was able to go in to the specialist today (thank you for all your prayers cause they were answered). My incredible mother n law came 2 hours to watch the kids while I went to check out my hip. Thank you so much Chloris, you have no idea how I felt knowing I had someone to count on when something unexpected happens. Thank you.

So I got to my appointment and I was so nervous. I felt like my heart was going to pop! The doctor came in and checked my MRI and me and she sat down and said, "Good news it is not Cancer... and I hate to be the one to give you the bad news but your hip is really messed up. You have extra bone growths, holes in your socket, the lump is how your muscle has grown, and you have a certain type of arthritis which is going to get much worse like there is no medication that can help this type of arthritis... And you need a full hip replacement."

I was stunned... My doctor said that she did not want me to get my hip replaced now she wants me to wait until my body can't take the pain anymore (years she was hoping... like in my 40's), then they will do the surgery to replace my hip.

I didn't understand why she didn't want to to have the surgery now and save myself from going through such pain for years. She used a USED CAR as an analogy. My body is like a used car she said. The more you fix it the sooner you are just going to have to get rid of it and just get a new car. So they longer I wait the longer I can have my used car....

I honestly have no clue what to think. All I can think is how am I going to react to this?!? I have decided to just live life like I don't have this problem.

You know I wonder why Heavenly Father allows sad things to happen in Peoples lives like; a child dying, a family member getting cancer, a parent dying, someone getting a terrible diease, not being able to have children, loved ones going through pain... etc... why? You know I don't know. But the thing that makes me feel at peace is I know Heavenly Father knows. I know that one day I will have a perfect body and I should be grateful I can walk. Or for other people that have worse problems then me... one day everything will be okay. Not only will it be okay but we will get to see loved ones again, sickness will be over, and pain will be gone! I know this life is short and thankfully I have the choice on how I am going to react. I just have to trust the Lord and know that even though I am going to have to go through pain that he is full aware of me and He won't leave me alone. I am so blessed to this gospel. I honestly don't know how people go through this life without it.
