Girl's Trip 2011

So I still can't believe this even happened but May 4-9th I flew to Colorado BY MYSELF .... and spent those days with all the girl's in my family for my sister Jenn's 40th BIRTHDAY!!! We went and stayed in our friends cabin.. more vacation luxury home, up in Breckenridge Colorado!

My Mom, Tanna, and I headed up a night early to meet my sister's Natalie and Jaclyn (and baby Nikson who I was dying to see!). My Dad kept making fun of us cause it looked like we packed for a year instead of 3 days.

The drive up was so much fun. We stopped at sonic and I kept catching my Mom stealing cookie dough! Hahaha OH!

We finally got there and we were all so excited! We talked and I immediately went for Nikson! Oh is he a doll or what! We spent the night laughing and just talking...

The nest morning after a crazy aerobic dancing session everyone else arrived.... Allison, Cari (my Aunts), Alisa (cousin), Stacey, Debbie (my sister-n-laws), and Jenn the birthday girl!!!! I was so happy and so excited to see everyone. All of these girls are my sisters and greatest friends! Stace and Deb made us a killer lunch and we just talked for hours. I really got to talk with Allison and Alisa... Which I just loved. I feel like I got to know everyone so much more this trip.

That night we went to dinner... to Angels Hollow which was highly recommended!!!  We all got dolled up and headed to our nice quiet dinner.... LITTLE DID WE KNOW....

I guess we should have known something was up by the pirate flag in the front. We walked in and it was a party! Music blasting and a sweet bar!! Hahaha where in the world were we! We all ordered and everyone was dying laughing because WHAT ON EARTH WERE WE DOING IN A BAR!!! WITH A BABY!!!!!? anyways we ordered our food everyone feeling a little uncomfortable... so we were all nervously cracking up.... then it HAPPENED..............

The owner of the bar LEE "Grodie McGrodiers" came and had Jenn stand up... He gave her such a awesome tribute about how she is turning 21 or 22 years old and how much more beautiful she was then all of them in the bar.... Then he said excuse me ladies but we all give you a big (BAD WORD %$#$  *%*!!!) That I am not writing! WE ALL DIED!!! Died!! I am serious we DIED!!!!!!! WE all could not control ourselves..... Then the whole bar started singing and after every sentence would say the same bad word! hahahahah oh my SURREAL experience! Stacey and Deb were putting there hands over their ears laughing, Alisa did the most high pitched laugh hahahah I have ever heard.... Allison's body went limp laughing I thought she was going to slide right under the table, I almost passed out I had to put my head on the table, and everyone else was just bawling laughing.... My Mother was laughing the hardest. This drunk women came up to Jenn and said something so random and gave her KNUCKLES and gave her a cheer with her margarita! I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT! It was not real.... That doesn't happen! They were probably wondering what in the world is all these fancy's coming in a bar ordering water!!!!? Don't ask me what HAPPENED... We won't be going back to Angels Hollow but HOLY did we laugh the rest of our trip about it!

After dinner we were still dying so we needed to relax.... We did face masks and got in the hot tub... more a hot pool!!!!! Oh was that needed everyone had head aches from laughing so hard.

The next morning Cari and Alsia made the most incredible breakfast.... PUMPKIN PANCAKES and the most amazing homemade syrup... DELICIOUS!! Best pancake I have ever had in my life!!! SERIOUS!!! Thank you ladies!!!

Later Saturday afternoon we went shopping at the outlets and ate at RIVER BOAT and this one will be our come to place if we ever go back!!! It was so good! This trip was so needed. It was so therapeutic! In ever aspect I think! I love all my sisters!!!! Everyone that was there!! I thank Monkey a million times for being with the kids who now likes him way more than me!!!

When we got back to my Mom's house we had Mother's day dinner at Mike and Deb's house! I don't know if you can tell but I love my family!!! It made me miss my little family in Oregon. Man was I needing to see them...

When I got home we all hugged each other and I started to cry. I missed them a lot! The next morning Monkey took us to breakfast at the coolest place. We spent to whole day together doing fun things! I am so grateful for my family! I love them and I loved my trip!! I can't wait till our next one!!!
