We got so blessed this past week to go to back home to Colorado! The last time we were there Cash was one and Belle just turned 3 years old. So it has been a long awaited trip. This trip was so wonderful. I had so much fun. Everyone keeps asking me what was my favorite thing I did....we did many dance parties, watched my Mom dress up in a mexican skirt and did the can can dance flapping feathers to Shakira, threw a surprise party for Monkey, walked, got caught in a lightening storm hahah well almost, had a awesome Mother's Day, ate too much great food, had a date night with Tanna my sister, watched Jeni's soccer game, field days, took teenage nieces and nephews to lunch, etc. But I think my favorite is watching my kids with everyone. I loved seeing them with my parents. Belle was coloring and all of a sudden she stopped and said, " I need to stop coloring now and give a little love to my Grandpa!" Cash wouldn't leave my Dad's side. Belle kept telling me how much she loved Grandma so much and wished she could live with her forever! Watching them laugh and have never ending smiles was worth any distance!!
Then the games began, Jeni rocked at her soccer game! Cash had a blast with Elena!! They played so hard! Paige loved being with Maya! Paige had a blast with Maya!
Then my favorite day... Mother's Day! It did not start out to well... Cash got into muffins with milk and had a huge allergic reaction. It was pretty bad. But after an amazing blessing he got to go to church and the day went on like normal! What would we do without the priesthood is beyond me! Anyways church was awesome, I got to take a nap, I got an aqua ,maxi dress, and had a burgers at Mike and Deb's house- which is the most fun house ever! Being with everyone was so hilarious and incredible! Perfection! I was so lucky to be able to spend Mother's day with my own Mom this year. I love her so much.
The next couple of days Belle got a little sick coughing but thanks to prayer she got to do everything!!! We went to Ben and Maya's field days! Cracked me up and made me miss being little!
This was the greatest trip! Since we have been home my kids keep crying for Colorado and keep waking up asking where is Grandma and Grandpa! I am so grateful we got to go! I am grateful though not to be on the plane! They were perfect until the last hour where Cash lost his mind and broke out in complete hysterics! I think I got my hair pulled, choked, and scratched! He finally fell asleep and Paige started HYSTERICS! Then she fell asleep and we landed and they all woke up and Hysterics broke out again! Ohhhh help me! ANYWAYS- we are back in Oregon and Belle is sick on the couch right now but we made it through the trip! Now we just have like 3 months left of Oregon... then off to Utah!
