Wow I am surprised I even have time to blog at the moment I feel like I am running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I have been so crazy busy and I don't know how I feel about it. My life has been speaking assignment after speaking assignment for stake young women's stuff, putting on a talent show for the ward, planning lessons for each Sunday, 3 kids, writing papers, reading articles, taking notes, and taking quizzes almost every night has made me one crazy tired MAMA! So I am so happy to get in a little "blog time"! This last month Monkey had Spring break and boy did we love every moment! Belle and Cash had the idea to start Spring break/ boards is over break with a candle lit homemade pizza dinner to congratulate their Daddy.... who studied night and day
LITERALLY for broads and finally finished!!! So Spring Break was much awaited!!
I feel like we can't get enough time together... all 5 of us! So we tried being together every moment we could. For some reason we really love each other! Hahah I can't stand being away from Monkey for more than 5 minutes. It is actually a problem. And then when I need to take a break from my kids I leave for an hour then I crave to be with them.... hahah not natural!! But I guess I have always been a little different! So spring break we tried teaching Belle to ride her bike. I feel so bad I have slacked with that. All of her friends are on 2 wheelers and I am just starting her on a bike! Sorry Belle... anyways she did so good. She rode by herself for like 5 seconds! That was exciting for me. Cash was just excited to try to run me over and have me say, "ohhhh you little stank!!!" He thought that was hilarious. We found the the church parking lot is one of our new favorite spots! Monkey and the kids climbed the trees, Belle and Paige played Alice in Wonderland and laid in all the flowers, and we all made flower bracelets. it was a lot of fun. Bike time ended up being like 10 mins and play time am hour or two!
I feel like my kids are growing up way too fast. They want to do everything by themselves. Including making themselves lunch! I crack up at how much Belle and Cash love each other. They want to be twins so bad. They try to wear matching pj's every night. Paige loves both of them so much. She has a soft spot for Cash these days. She stares at him, just waiting for him to look at her. When he finally does he smiles ans says,"Oh hi Paigey!" and she just laughs and smiles and reaches for him. I can tell that makes Cash feel so good! Paige has become quite the character! She is loud, sassy, funny, sweet, soft, rough, cuddly, NOT CUDDLY, cuddly again, stubborn to the max, darling, and loves her Mama! I don't even know how to explain her. She is one of those babies that makes you laugh just by looking at her round chunky face! She shuts her eyes as tight as she can, wrinkles up her nose, and puts her lips to the holes of her nose and breathes really hard really fast! I love it! She crawls finally it just took 10 months! She has no teeth... her gums have been red and swollen for months ready to pop, but nothin! Her head is ELVIS PRESLEY... hahah she has so much hair and most the time she looks like a orphan. She 2 weeks ago would wake up 3-5 times a night crying for me and ate 3-5 times a night while my other children would wake up in between like 3-5 times!!! So an hour or 2 in what I go of sleep! Now Monkey and I sleep on the living room floor... and Monkey is only allowed to go in her room at night... Paige has finally given up and knows Mom is not coming... so she NOW goes to bed a 7pm wakes up at 7am eats, and goes back to bed till 8:30 or 9am! Wow! Finally I felt like the living dead for 6 months with maybe 4 hrs being my longest night of sleep since November!!!
Oh Cash is potty trained!!! Night and Day for a while now!!! Thank goodness!!
Belle and Cash's room is sooo sad!!! I have a bunch of decor and bed frames for them put didn't bother setting it up since we have 3 months in Forest Grove left. I feel like they are a lot like me when I was little instead of the cute bed comforter (like Jaclyn my sister would have had) I choose to have snowmen and animals and random stuff all over my bed.... HINTS my children will only sleep if there beds look like this!!! Hah Oh man!
Anyways spring break was awesome! We did so much and we loved it. Tomorrow we go to Colorado!!!! Let the real party begin!
