Something to Remember!

I DID IT!!! I finished my advanced writing/ Critical Thinking class to finish up my AS degree!!! I was feeling so relieved that I finally completed some type of degree, that 10 plus hours a weeks or more was spent trying to accomplish this course was over, and Monkey now can stop jumping down my throat about getting it done.

Anyways one night last week, I got out of the shower and I came down stairs to a "graduation party"! Monkey got stuffed crust pizza, salad, cream soda (a pop I actually like), Gerber daisies, a graduation card, celebration music poppin on pandora, and little notes that were "10 reasons why I am proud of Mamie"! Now I have to be honest I did not think getting a AS degree was that big of a deal.... But Monkey made it huge! He made me feel so special- like I had just won the Nobel prize or something! So the night went like this... we ate party food....

Then Monkey gave me a graduation gown and said it was time AGAIN to do a music video! Hhahaha I was shocked that he wanted to do it again! So we both wore grad gowns and the only duet I could think of was "Bop to the Top" the song from high school musical... I am guessing because the kids make us play it every second we are in the car... they know the whole song, I know the whole song, Paige pretends to mouth the whole song, and now hahah Monkey also knows the whole song! So we busted out a music video... I watched it over and over watching Monkey and I couldn't stop laughing.....

Then he ended the night with a ITUNES dance party! He put it on shuffle and any song it came to we danced! It didn't matter if it was a rap song, blues song, pop song, alternative song.... Monkey would dance the same... "Hoe down honky tonk" style! or he looked like Stevey Wonder bobbin his head back and forth! I loved every moment... Oh and then he pulled out peanut butter cups of all shapes and sizes! PARTAY! Monkey thank you so much for making me feel so special and doing this night for me! I love you!
