Colorado 2014

Well bitter sweetly our time in Utah has ended. Monkey has finished and done 3 rotations. We packed up our little house(we will not talk of he heart ache of saying goodbye to Jaclyn and her fam and Natalie and her fam- it was really bad) in Utah and the kids and I headed to Colorado a week before Monkey. We cruised through towns until we got to VAIL..... oh my never seen before road/blizzard conditions. Vail has maybe 2 exits and maybe 2 exits in from Frisco... It took me 3 hours to get maybe 10 miles. My vans tires were rolling and not getting any traction. I was sliding everywhere. Semis stopped in the middle of the road by the hundreds to put on chains. It was terrifying I was constantly praying to Heavenly Father to move my car! Belle and Cash went to the bathroom in the all over because we could not stop, pull over, or hand them a diaper..... ohhhh so crazy. Finally thanks to my Dad and family friend I got to go to their cabin right in Frisco. It took another hour or so to get 2 miles. I could not find the cabin cause of the blizzard and piles of snow.  I prayed so hard to find it and finally I rolled up to a cabin and got out and dialed the garage code and it opened....relief and gratitude and exhaust filled my body!!! I piled my potty, no shoes, tired, children and luggage and trudge through the piled high snow into the cabin. I gave the kids baths, tired not to cry, and went to bed!!! Thank goodness for Heavenly Father, Family, Friends, and free cabins.

It made me realize how grateful I am for bright sunny days! 

In the morning we got up and headed home to Colorado where of course and warm, beautiful, delicious smelling house and amazing parents were waiting our arrival! I felt like bawling when I saw my parents... thankful I made it home. ......

 

Now it has been almost a month since I have been here and I have had so many great times already that will be very hard to ever forget!!! My parents are my children's idols. My Dad is getting LOTS of love... hahaha maybe too much love.

Belle and Cash since we have been here has had a major life change! They both started to go to school... preschool. I loooove their teachers. Belle walked in on her first day smiled huuuge and said "BYE MOM". Cash on the other hand bawled and was soooo rude to his teachers. Even though he was being so rude it didn't seem to bother any of the kids. There is this little boy named Hersh and he wanted everything to do with Cash. "Cash will you be my partner?" "CASH you are my new best friend!" Cash just glared at them. So finally enough was enough I took him out of class and told him that was he was doing was not ok and I was not going to let him go to class if he treated people like that! He talked to me a long time and told me how he felt and how he just wants his family in his class.... then all of a sudden Belle's class comes out in the hall and Belle is in the front of the line crawling like a dog to the bathroom with her whole class behind her! Cash started laughing... we talked about how each kid in his class is his family! They are all children of our Heavenly Father which makes them his family. He took a deep breathe and went back in his class- He left my side and was fine. I left and sat in the car the rest of the time. Cash's class came out to play and he was having so much fun. Then they went in and him and Hersh ran and opened the door for their whole class. I was so proud of him. He was so brave and really turned his day around! Now Cash hates Mondays cause he doesn't go to school. Belle thrives in school. She comes home and tells me all about the presidents of the United States and about money.... She brings home huge paintings and... OH to see their faces and how happy they are makes those 2 1/2 hours without them worth it. They also started swimming lessons.... they are fishes. CRACKS ME UP. They are learning really well too. maybe Monkey will finally relax around any water.

Paige has for sure changed over night. She is no longer my baby... She is not potty trained but she sure likes the toilet! and her toothbrush. Weird combo...... But she loves doing things all by herself. And boy does she have an attitude if she can't. NO is her favorite word.... and laughing/dancing is her favorite thing to do. She sings to skyscraper and gone gone gone perfectly! She is a MAMAS GIRL!!! If I leave the room... death! It is pretty bad actually. some days she is okay but most days I better not go far. She has a bit of an issue with people. But she loooooves my brother MIKE, Jaclyn, Natalie, My Mom, Jenn, Jeni and Maya my nieces, and my DAD! She is so hilarious though. Oh man she runs and laughs and seems to love life. My favorite thing she does is when Monkey gets home she yells, "DAAAAAAAAAAADY" and runs her waddling duck run and kisses and hugs him so tight. It's the best!

Colorado has been so wonderful so far and Monkey loves his office he works at. He gets Wednesday off so we went to a afternoon movie together while the kids were at school. Oh I love it! We had an awesome Valentines day with the Alvarez Family and little Chloe! We have had tea parties especially with the Jones' girls! My Mom started Strong as a Rock again which Belle now thinks is a national holiday (pictures to come), we all got sick and thrown up haha sick, 70 degree weather and also played in the snow! Candle lit dinners and my favorite Chinese food THOR night with my parents, Monkey and Tanna! "TAAAAADAAAA"  TJ and My favorite part of movie! Lots of walks and workout, campout inside, got a new calling as activity day leader! So many things have happen the only thing that could have made it better is Jac and Nat being here!

But before we left...

He finally got his own Captain Costume!!

Oh my heavens Cash is sooooooo stinkin cute. He has such a sweet spot in my heart. I can't help but just love this kids.
He is hilarious
He is concerned about everyone feelings
He looooovvvvess to EAT
He love Captain America and he wanted Belle to play too so She got Black Widow cape and he couldn't be happier!
He workouts with me everyday and makes me laugh the whole time... JUMPING JACKS are the best when he does it
He loves to run and "WILL BE A FOOTBALL PLAYER ONE DAY MOM!"
He loves soft things... blankets and Moms cheeks on his!
He idolizes his Dad
He can't write worth beans but when we practice he just laughs when his B looks like a tornado!
He is strong... very strong
He puts treats back sometimes cause "Mom they aren't healthy for a football boy"
He loves to run
He love T REX
He throws fits when he is tired bigger then any child I have ever seen!
He takes such good care of Paige and even earns a quarter cause he does so well
He loves wrestling
He loves sissors
HATES hair cuts!
and I LOOOOOVE HIMMMMM SO MUCH!
