monkeys graduation

 

After countless hours of school, multiple presentations, thousands of quizzes, hundreds of tests, too many to count all night studies, four broads exams, and way too many hours away from family, Oliver Nels-Ander Mullins graduated Optometry school. Oliver gave more than his best and made sure his family was very well taken care of at the same time.  Graduation day was so special! Mark, Chloris, Caleb, Lexi, and Mariah were able to come and be a part of this exciting day. I can't explain the feeling I had when Oliver walked across the stage and was announced Doctor. So many emotions came over me, but all I could do was scream out!!!! I can only imagine how Oliver felt. Dr. Mullins we are so extremely proud of you!

Then to Monkey's no idea SURPRISE.... I somehow got away with getting him to the airport having no clue where we were going to next... CANCUN! This was a very bitter sweet trip! We got so badly burned the first day we hardly could move or do anything the rest of the trip. The pool was even hard to get into! One afternoon burned and all we were going to go snorkeling no matter how bad it hurt! We left our room and a minute walk to the ocean took use like 20minutes! We finally reached the beach and plopped on lawn chairs and it started to down pour! People were running off the beach. Monkey and I just watched everyone run without saying a word! Then we both took a deep breathe and started to crack up! It was better than crying! Anyways to our luck they still let us go snorkeling... which consisted of us holding to dear life to a rope trying to get aboard the boat to take us. Waves were drowning everyone! This poor lady got her arm slashed. Anyways snorkeling was the bomb! So awesome. Our "London" friends were overjoyed to see a sea turtle mate!!!! It was thrilling! I wore literally long shorts, shirt, and a jacket to not get burned again! hahaha I did right where my jacket lifted from my back! HILARIOUS! Our favorite was the jet skies! Oh we were in heaven riding the ocean! Monkey was a little boy in a toy shop and I was free! We wanted to stay on and never get off the rest of the trip! Cancun all together minus all the mishaps was a blast! Very dreadfully painful but so worth being with just Monkey and celebrating his amazing accomplishment! We announced also that we are pregnant with our 4th baby in Cancun! We are having a girl! And are so excited!
