24th Birthday

BOO!

I just love this little guy... I can't believe he is going to be one year old on Tuesday. And I can't believe I buzzed his head.... hahaha Oh well at least he can pull it off! I love you little boy!

I am 24 years old.... WEIRD! I am so use to everyone calling my little Mamie Sue and now that doesn't fit too well. I am getting up there!! I had a lot of interesting thngs happen on my birthday but I will talk about that later. I will just focus on what we did to celebrate. Monkey and I have been savin up so on my birthday we could go all out and celebrate him finishing his first semester of Optometry school, our anniversary, and my birth!!! So my amazing in law took Belle and Cash over night..... Pulling out of the drive way without my kids was there weirdest feeling. I have not been without a child over night for 2 years. I didn't know what to do with myself. Monkey made me scream out the car window!!! Hahaha I felt like we were teenagers. Then Monkey and I went and checked into our hotel at the Super 8 in The Dalles! We got all dressed up, I got a dress and everything! I felt like a queen. When we were all dolled up we went to the most cozy resturant called Stonehedge Gardens. We had to drive up a dirt road and in the middle of the forest was Stonehedge... it was covered in lights and flowers and it looked like a little cottage. Inside was a fire place and it looked like a cabin, and to top it off we were like the only ones there. The lights were dimmed and the food wa incredible. Monkey had duck and I ate steak. We sat forever just talking... I love talking to Monkey it always feels like we are one a first date... cheesy I know. After Stonehedge we wanted to go bowling but everything was close so we just went to Shari's and had hot chocolate and pie... I decided it's not a celebration without food so we had a lot!!

The next morning I did not wake up till like 10am! I kept waking up thinking why don't I hear Cash saying MOM MAMA MOM! hahah It felt so good to sleep in. I made Monkey watch That's so Raven with me.... hahah! Then we finally decided to get ready and we wanted to go see a movie but the only thing worth watching was coming soon so we did what I wanted most to do in a long time....... We cleaned the car!!! Having two kids and two car seats makes a car a disaster!!! CRAKERS crushed everywhere! haha I was so happy that we got that done then with a clean car we went shopping at Fred Meyer - hahah the only shop in The Dalles! Then we went for a drive and looked over all the orchards... We found our dream house... a box wooden house in the middle of no where. We decided to take a picture in front of it so when we have 6 kids we can all move in!!! hahah NOT! Then we headed back to Monkey's parents house and I was having such butterflies to see our kids! I missed them like crazy believe it or not! Belle ran to me and hugged me and Cash would not even look at me! He looked everywhere but me, I don't think he was too happy I left. Then sweet Chloris had a birthday party for Cash, Mark, and Me! We had hot dogs and chips, and Dairy free cake for Cash! When we gave Cash the cake hahah he had no idea if he wanted to eat it. Finally we got a piece in his mouth and all of a sudden he was like convolsing!!! His whole body was shaking!!! He got so excited he seriously couldn't control himself then he just went to town on the cake! It was hilarious! We all could not stop laughing. We had such a great time celebrating our birthdays.... When we left to finish off my birthday I wanted to see the Pigs down Monkeys street... so we did! Belle was fascinated by them and haha I was too! Monkey not so much! Anyways I had a birthday I will always remember.... thats for sure (in more ways then one).
