Then the next morning we woke up to this.... SNOW hahhah the second time it has snowed in Forest Grove this winter. So I guess spring will have to take a back seat for a little while longer. It was such a warm snowy day ... haha all the elementary schools had a snow day. Monkey of course did not... He was a bit bummed and so were we that every school got cancelled but his. Anyways I was afraid that we weren't going to get to play in the snow because Belle went to bed last night with a 102.7 temp... but she woke up with a normal temp (which was weird, so I thought it was a flakey thing) so we bundled up and went outside to play with all their friends....
This is such a sad picture... Hahaha but I had to take it because Belle was crying cause she got a little snow on her nose- can you see it?!!! So we had to go inside because she was not happy... Then Belle started acting really tired. And all of a sudden her temp spiked up to 103.5! So crazy I felt so bad for taking her outside. She probably still wasn't feeling good. She is in bed now for the night (7pm) and I feel so bad for her. I called the doctor and the nurse called me back telling me to make sure she gets plenty of liquids and rest.... I talked to my friend Vanessa who always makes me feel so much better than the doctors do, her Mom is a nurse and she wants to be a nurse as well- so I always like talking to her about these things. Her sweet boy Braden just got over the same thing. So she gave me some great advice and calmed me down a bit! I am so grateful to have a friend like her. So now we have a couple sick days ahead of us again and hopefully Belle will be back to sweet crazy normal self!! Happy Snow Days!
