Part 2: June 2011 Colorado Trip

From Oregon we drove 13 hours to Utah and chilled at night with my sisters Jac and Natalie. We roasted smores and played in Jaclyn rad back yard. Jaclyn's backyard makes you feel like you are 5 again. Everyone is climbing trees, swinging, jumping, chasing each other, etc. We had a blast doing smores and Belle loved the sparklers. I loved watching Belle on the swing devouring the marshmallows in a daze and Jac sitting next to her totally imitating her! The next morning Monkey headed off with the boys in his family on a huge hiking/camping trip and I drove to Colorado by myself with the kids for another 8 hour drive to surprise my Dad for Father's Day. After 7 hours (good driving on my part- I can't believe our Jetta made it!!) of awesome kids we arrived at my parents house with sub sandwiches, chips, drinks, and just ate and played.

My Mom and sister Tanna arrived almost at the same time from Farmington and when my Dad saw my Mom he ran to her! I love how much my parents really do love each other!

As usual the moment anyone comes the music come on, tutus come on, and everyone is dancing! Belle was so excited to see everyone. Especially her best friend in the whole world Elena!

Father's Day dinner was at my Uncle Tiger's house! I love our family dinners- for some reason we all like each other a lot!! 

Cute Joann! I love this lady she is so kind and she is always ready to help anyone! Cash since we got to Colorado whined and whined and whined... He would not go to anyone- he just cried and wanted me to hold him... 24/7 so I was a bit frazzled.. and Joann saved me cause he went to her and was happy!!! Thanks Joann! Ps- I dropped my camera after this picture and it busted... I know this is ridiculous but I almost bawled my brains out! haha I had to duct tape it... I still had to hold it shut to take pictures! I was so sad and I called Monkey almost in tears about it! out of control!

Luke bought my Dad a telescope so he could see Luke from California!! haha

These two Cari and Alisa always make the best food- I am serious I wish I could hire them as my personal chefs!

Playing in the rain #2- All the kids were stuck in the house so I decided to run outside and I got everyone to follow! I had a blast I can't remember the last time I ran in the rain. We played tag and we tried to see who could stayed under the pouring water off our roof the longest. The bigger kids ended up falling in the creek behind my house- They played out there forever! The littler kids got dried off and into warm clothes and snuggled up and watched movies!

Oh the moment Belle has been waiting for.... For the last year Belle has talked about going swimming with Grandpa! Begging me to swim with Grandpa... even crying about it sometimes! Finally they got to swim together! I think it made her life! The moment she saw him she ran to him and pulled him to the pool and sat with him forever!

Lydia and Cash- Who da thought!! They became best friends! Like they had to be where ever the other was. Every time we came in the door Lydia would brighten up and yell "CASH... CASH!" I hope they stay close!

One morning the girls and I plus Cash went to the mall and shopped around, went to the pet store, and had a "ladies lunch" cinnabon and sandwiches.

Natalie arrived Friday morning!!! Everyone loves Natalie! You can't help it!

The rest of the trip was spent just being together... Monkey finally came on Saturday... Boy did I miss him!! We ended up staying with Tanna and I loved staying with her!! Saturday night all the adults went to Grande Lux Cafe for my Dad and Mom's goodbye dinner! Most of us cried when the waiter brought out a cake that said "Good luck in California"- We are all babies! Monday Monkey, Luke, Scott, Kaylee, Gabbie, Tae, Aubrey, Ammon, Ben, Maya, Drake, and Wesley went to WATER WORLD!!! SO FUN!!! we went all day and I loved every moment except when I had water shooting out my eye lids from going down a straight down slide while Luke was flirting with a girl from Cali!! Tuesday night my parents actually got set apart but that is another entire. Then Wednesday morning they got in their car and left their home for 18 months!

So as we know my camera broke and my amazing parents got 3 for their mission and HELLO they gave me a new one!!!! I almost died!!! I seriously didn't know what to do with myself... They also gave me their computer because they got a new lap top! SPOILED? YES GRATEFUL??? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! I can't believe my parents! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! So these last three pics are taken with my new camera- Thanks Mom and Dad!

We decided to stay a couple more days after my parents and Jenn left for Utah. We had dinner at Debbie and Mike's house I made fruit pizza- my favorite and we had the best french dip!!! Thanks Debbie! Then we went to Garrett's house and watched a movie on his theater screen! Prince of Persia! Then we slept ate the most amazing omelete- Thanks Stace! Then we got in the car and traveled back to Utah for the 4th! What a trip.... and it's not over yet!
